For Ronaldo is a unicum, a strange and thrilling hybrid between a sprinter and a juggler, leaving flames in his wake along with bewildered and foolish defenders.
When he sets off with the ball at his feet, there’s no escape, and often the only thing left to do is pray, even if one doesn’t believe in the good Lord.
